The Preparation Meeting
This is the heart of the MUSICORDES process — and what sets it apart from every other musical offering. In a dedicated session before your event, we co-design the full musical experience: repertoire selection, ensemble configuration, timing of each piece, transitions between moments, and the emotional arc from arrival to farewell. By the time we leave this meeting, every musical decision has been made. Nothing is left to chance on the day.

We recommend reaching out at least 3 to 6 months before your event — especially for weddings and large receptions during peak seasons (May–October in Montréal). That said, we always do our best to accommodate requests on shorter timelines. The first step is simply to reach out and check availability.
Absolutely. The Preparation Meeting is specifically designed for this. You can come with a list, a feeling, a reference — or nothing at all. Our role is to help you articulate and curate the musical identity of your event, whether you arrive with precise ideas or open to our guidance.
Yes. MUSICORDES is based in Montréal but regularly performs at events across Québec and beyond. Travel availability and any associated logistics are discussed during the initial conversation.
Performance duration is tailored to the structure of your event and determined during the Preparation Meeting. A typical engagement includes distinct sets for the ceremony, cocktail hour, and reception — each timed and configured to serve the specific moment.
Life changes, and events evolve. Any adjustments to repertoire, timing, or ensemble configuration can be accommodated up to a reasonable point before the event. Our process is designed to be thorough enough that last-minute changes rarely arise — but when they do, we handle them with the same calm we bring to everything else.
MUSICORDES does not offer fixed packages. Each engagement is scoped and priced based on the formation, duration, event type, and any travel requirements. Pricing is discussed privately after the initial conversation, once we understand the full scope of your event.
